- EchoStar Communications Corp. [DISH] reported $1.86 billion in revenues and $102 million in net income for the third quarter of 2004, compared with $1.45 billion in revenues and $35 million in net income during the same period one year ago. The company also reported that it added about 350,000 subscribers to its Dish Network direct-to-home satellite television service during the just-completed third quarter, bringing the total number of subscribers to about 10.5 million as of Sept. 30. In other company financial news, EchoStar declared a one-time $1 dividend per outstanding share of its Class A and Class B Common Stock. The dividend will be payable Dec. 14 to shareholders of record Dec. 8.
