South Korea Sat-TV Rollout Delayed By Regulators

      A planned rollout of mobile satellite television service by South Korea’s SK Telecom may be delayed as country regulators ponder whether the service can broadcast terrestrial television programs. According to reports, the Korean Broadcasting Commission won’t allow satellite delivery of terrestrial programming until terrestrial broadcasters launch competing mobile television services using landline networks.
