Iran Enters The Satellite Age

Iran is planning on launching its first satellite next year, but the satellite’s mission has not been clearly stated. Iranian officials reportedly said the satellite would be used to demonstrate the country’s space technology, and it will fly in low orbits of between 60 miles and 250 miles above the Earth.
