CapRock Acquires Telematika

CapRock Communications today said it acquired Indonesia-based Telematika Java Duta in an effort to bolster the communications services it supplies to remote locations. CapRock noted that Telematika has more than 15 years of experience in providing satellite, microwave and other telecom services to remote customers in Southeast Asia and in the South Pacific; it was the first company to introduce VSAT technology to Vietnam. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
