Coach USA Cuts Over GPS Tracking Service

Atlanta-based Airo Wireless, a provider of Global Positioning System (GPS)-enabled mobile location services, is assisting Clear Technologies in the integration of an Emergency On-board Communications solution for Coach USA LLC‘s (CUSA) ground transportation vehicles throughout the United States.
The new GPS technology provides accurate location data, and it will enable tracking of CUSA’s 1,500-passenger buses for emergency services, if needed. CUSA’s headquarters now can know the geographic location of each of the company’s vehicles as well as providing immediate emergency assistance, said Jeoff Moore, Airo Wireless’ vice president of sales.
