Sirius Satellite Radio [SIRI] promoted Doug Kaplan to senior vice president of business affairs and business development, entertainment and sports. Kaplan worked with Sirius President of Entertainment and Sports Scott Greenstein to help the satellite radio provider sign content agreements with the National Football League, Maxim and others. He has been with the company since 1999. Prior to his work at Sirius, Kaplan was an associate at New York-based Cravath, Swaine and Moore; and he served as president of the Lakeland Prowlers of the Southern Hockey League.
