EchoStar Communications Corp. [DISH] today said with the addition of local channel coverage in Charlestown, S.C., and in Montgomery, Ala., it now becomes the first pay-television company to make local channels available to 100 million television households nationwide through its Dish Network direct-to-home satellite television service.
