The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command in San Diego tapped ViaSat Inc. [VSAT] for a $47 million delivery order involving multifunctional information distribution system terminals. The order includes an undisclosed number of LVT1 airborne and LVT2 ground-based, low-volume units. Delivery should begin in June 2005, continuing through the first quarter of ViaSat’s fiscal 2007, officials said.
