BrightStar Internet Inc. is offering one-way satellite Internet services to the outlying areas of Central Florida. Residents may use their telephone connections to send requests for data from the Internet, and that data will be downloaded via a satellite link at speeds as fast as 400 Kbps. The service will be available for $39.95 per month, with an initial charge of less than $100 for a satellite receiver dish and a PCI internal modem.
