XM Satellite Radio [XMSR] subscribers will be able to get expanded traffic reports during weekends this summer for select coastal areas, including Cape Cod; Long Island/North Jersey Shore; South Jersey Shore; the Delaware beaches (including Rehoboth and Bethany); Eastern Maryland Shores; and Orange and Los Angeles Counties. The expanded beach traffic reports run Fridays from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Sundays and Monday holidays from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. local time for each beach location. The expanded reports will begin on Memorial Day and run through Labor Day.
