Telecom Italia Delivers Broadband Satellite Services With DirecWay

Officials from Hughes Network Systems yesterday said the company’s European unit, HNS Europe, has supplied Telespazio S.p.A. with a DirecWay network operations center (NOC) and remote satellite terminals. Telespazio will operate the NOC and provide broadband satellite services to Telecom Italia S.p.A. Telecom Italia began offering DirecWay services to private and public institutions across Italy last month.
