Dinkins Tapped For Award

      Cynthia Dinkins, vice president of program and business developmentat the Alexandria, Va.-based T. Howard Foundation, today was named as one of the “Fifty Most Influential Minorities in Business for 2004” by the Minority Business and Professionals Network (MBPN). The honor is given annually to 50 entrepreneurs who promote business partnerships for minority enterprises in both the public and private sectors. Dinkins identifies partnerships, external funding sources, and serves as an outlet to Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Hispanic Serving Institutions (HIS) for the foundation. The T. Howard Foundation works with women and minority students by placing them in internships within the consumer satellite industry.
