By Staff Writer | May 10, 2004

Officials from Americom Government Services Inc. (AGS), a wholly owned subsidiary of SES Americom, and Verestar Inc. today said the companies formally linked their complementary General Services Administration federal supply service schedules. The newly formed Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) expands and deepens the satellite-based communications solutions available to all civilian and defense agencies. The MAS will provide many benefits to the government, including volume discount pricing, “most favorable customer” pricing, a direct procurement relationship between industry and government, and shorter lead times on sourcing, the partners said.
