Parvus Corp. unveiled the OrbiTrak 8R integrated GPS board for mobile and vehicular PC/104 embedded computer systems. Supporting both NMEA 0183 and TAIP ASCII protocols as well as binary TSIP GPS data formats, the board integrates a eight-channel Trimble [TRMB]Lassen GPS module, two TTL serial ports, 16 digital I/O, an external battery backup, an odometer and clock input. The OrbiTrak 8R can be used with any of Parvus’ SpacePC-series CPU boards.
