SkyTerra Communications [SKYT] purchased a majority interest in AfriHUB LLC for $1.5 million. Oakton, Va.-based AfriHUB intends to provide satellite-based broadband Internet access along with domestic and international calling services to the African continent with a particular focus on the Nigerian market.
