NovAtel Begins Shipment of GPS Components to Leica

NovAtel [NGPS], a Calgary, Alberta-based Global Positioning System (GPS) provider, has reached an agreement with Swiss Leica Geosystems [LGSN] to provide GPS capability on Leica’s new System 1200. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The companies have been working together since signing a cooperative agreement in 2002 for the joint development of the new Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS).
