The International Space Business Council expects to release a report next week that predicts the space industry will reach $90 billion this year. Among the conclusions of the “‘2004 State of the Space Industry,” the group expects a rebound in commercial orders for satellites and launch vehicles, combined with an increasing Department of Defense budget for space systems, and a rise in consumer satellite services.
