Galaxy Satellite Broadcasting, a Hong Kong-based satellite TV provider, has signed an agreement with Macrovision [Nasdaq: MVSN], a Santa Clara, Calif.-based digital rights company, for technology to protect Galaxy’s near-video-on-demand (NVOD) programs from unauthorized copying. Financial terms were not disclosed.
