Rome Research, a subsidiary of PAR Technology [NYSE: PTC], was awarded a $4.1 million contract to provide tactical support communication systems and services at the Naval Computer and Telecommunications Station in Jacksonville, Fla. The $4.1 million contract covers operation and maintenance of the Navy’s tactical satellite communications systems used to support anti-submarine warfare and drug interdiction operations in the Atlantic. The performance period of the contract is five years.
