Korean Satellite STB Manufacturer To Enter U.S. Consumer Electronics Market

      Korean-based satellite set-top box manufacturer Humax has announced plans for its U.S. debut at the 2004 Consumer Electronics Show to be held in Las Vegas from Jan. 8- 11. Currently conducting business in over 90 countries, Humax’s strategic alliances with operators, consumer electronics companies and technology partners internationally will help facilitate its entry into the U.S. consumer electronics market, company officials said. The company’s U.S. marketing and distribution efforts are being led by Sales and Marketing Vice President Tony Goncalves, who previously successfully managed various product lines and business development affairs for Samsung and Sharp Electronics.
