Bulgarian VSAT operator TRANSAT JSCo, a subsidiary of Bulgaria’s Petrol, is leasing capacity on New Skies‘ NSS-7 satellite to link hundreds of gas stations, banks and corporate locations in Bulgaria. Financial terms were not disclosed. The service began in September and the network, which will consist of more than 500 sites, is scheduled to be completed early next year. It initially will provide high-speed digital voice, video and data communications to 450 gas stations, 30 bank branches and 17 corporate office locations.
