Korean direct broadcast satellite (DBS) broadcaster SkyLife has topped the 1 million subscriber mark, making it one of Asia’s fastest growing pay-TV platforms. SkyLife launched Korea’s only digital satellite TV service in March 2002. Since then, it has gained a 6.1 percent market share of television households in Korea. SkyLife’s conditional access systems are supplied by NDS.
