FiberSat To Uplink Services For LA-Based TV Stations

FiberSat Global Services will provide satellite distribution of Los Angeles-based TV stations KJLA TV, LATV Network, KXLA TV, and KVMD TV using PanAmSat‘s [Nasdaq: SPOT] Galaxy 11 satellite.
FiberSat Global Services is receiving four separate signals through digital terrestrial circuits, providing MPEG-2/DVB digital video compression and satellite uplinking. The turn-key satellite services are being provided through facilities located within FiberSat Global Services’ Los Angeles facility.
