Recom Managed Systems [OTCBB:RECM] announced Tuesday that it has successfully incorporated full Global Positioning System (GPS) capabilities into its heart monitoring technologies.

The company had previously demonstrated proprietary technologies that have permitted reading and transmitting of clinical quality EKG signal in “ambulatory” situations. Now, with the successful incorporation of full GPS technology, the device will be able to track patients wearing the monitor and intervene in cases of emergency with immediate satellite positioning and paramedic or physician-based intervention.
