Stephen Newell has been named senior account manager at EMS Technologies‘ SATCOM Aeronautical Group in Ottawa, Ontario. Newell will represent EMS’ products to Gulfstream Aerospace, the U.S. military and other large aircraft refinishing centers.

Prior to joining EMS, Newell managed avionics systems at AIRIA (Annapolis, Md.), where he was responsible for the development of a live aeronautical satellite television system over the Inmarsat satellite network. He previously was a product manager at Racal Avionics, supporting aeronautical satcom and DBS antenna systems.
