The Canadian Space Agency is preparing to launch its SciSat satellite this summer from Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif. In preparation, CSA is holding a technical briefing for media on Friday at the University of Toronto about the instruments onboard the satellite before it is shipped to California.

SciSat is the first Canadian science satellite to be put in orbit in over 30 years and will help Canadian and international scientists study ozone depletion in the atmosphere. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration will launch the bird at Vandenberg.
