Telenor Satellite Services is extending its offer for customers to try out its wireless packet data satellite service–Regional Broadband Global Area Network (Regional BGAN). Telenor is offering 50 free megabytes for each Regional BGAN SIM card activated through the end of April.

Unlike other services that charge per-minute connection fees, Telenor’s (Oslo, Norway) Regional BGAN service requires users to pay only for data sent and received. Connections to the Internet or private networks also can be kept “always on.”
