Integral Systems [ISYS], a provider of satellite command and control technology and satellite ground systems, is launching its Skylight system using a direct broadcast satellite terminal for remote sensing of weather data.

Skylight terminals can provide U.S. military field commanders and warfighters with weather information that is no more than two hours old, taking the guesswork out of deploying troops, military resources and laser-guided munitions in fast-changing weather scenarios, Integral explained.
