[Satellite Today – 1-15-08] Globecomm Systems Inc. has received a $4.6 million contract modification from NATO, Globecomm announced Jan. 14.
The modification extends communications services and on-site support for Globecomm’s GPS-based force tracking system, which enables NATO to identify where its personnel are located and identify other multi-national forces.
Globecomm previously announced about $22.9 million in contracts from NATO to design and install the system, bringing the total contract value to $27.5 million.
