[Satellite TODAY 07-05-13] Singapore Technologies Engineering (ST Engineering) released an update on its satellite and communications business in the second quarter. The company said that in the satellite and communications part of its business, ST Electronics secured contracts worth about S$182 million ($142.98 million) for the supply of satcoms solutions and communications systems projects to local and international customers.
These included network infrastructure, block up converters and amplifiers, as well as satellite hubs and remote terminals to government, enterprises, oil and gas and maritime users.
