[Satellite TODAY 11-22-11] Avanti Communications Group has signed new service provider network partnership agreements and an expansion to an existing customer agreement, the broadband satellite operator announced Nov. 21.

   Avanti entered into partnerships with Antech in Italy and BriteYellow in the United Kingdom. The operator said the deal aims to help its new partners boost their capabilities as providers of satellite broadband services to homes and businesses in underserved areas.

   Avanti also extended the reach of its business deal with an existing customer in Spain. Avanti said that Spanish service provider Nassat expanded its commitment to Avanti capacity, which was driven by growing business demands and Nassat’s plan to broaden their geographical coverage within Iberia.

   Financial details of the agreements were not disclosed.
