[Satellite TODAY 12-01-09] Thaicom signed a 10-year contract with Thai broadcaster Nation Broadcasting Corp. (NBC), Thaicom announced Nov. 26.
Thaicom will broadcast NBC’s Nation Channel on a free-to-air basis on its Thaicom 5 satellite. NBC also is planning to broadcast another channel on Thaicom 5 in 2010, the broadcaster said.
“We are delighted to welcome NBC onto the Thaicom 5 satellite. The Nation Channel is one of the most respected and popular news channels in Thailand,” Arak Chonlatanon, Thaicom’s CEO, said in a statement
