[Satellite TODAY 11-30-09] The Kudelski Group has closed the subsequent offering period of its tender offer to acquire Class A shares of OpenTV not already owned by Kudelski or its subsidiaries, the company said Nov. 27.
Upon the acquisition of the tendered shares, Kudelski will own about 96 percent of the voting rights in OpenTV.
Shareholders of OpenTV had tendered approximately 77.7 million Class A shares of OpenTV, representing about 83 percent of the OpenTV Class A shares not owned by Kudelski or its subsidiaries prior to commencement of the tender offer.
