[Satellite TODAY 10-07-09] Satellite Holdings has changed the name of the recently acquired Raven Group to Skyware Global, Satellite Holdings announced Oct. 5. 
    Satellite Holdings and investment partners Granahan McCourt Capital and The Edgewater Funds acquired Raven Group in January. Allan Kennedy has been appointed global sales and marketing director.
    “With high market penetration, a truly global footprint which includes deep understanding of different markets, and end-to-end control of the manufacturing process, we are unique in the marketplace,” Satellite Holdings CEO David McCourt, said in a statement.
    In May, Satellite Holdings acquired the DTH and VSAT businesses of ASC Signal, its Chinese operating entity ASC PRC as well as their radio frequency electronics business Skyware Radio Systems GmbH, formerly owned by Philips Electronics.
