[Satellite Today 07-28-09] Global Satellite USA has launched its Inmarsat Fleetbroadband 150 using airtime from Vizada, Global Satellite announced July 24.
Global Satellite is offering $2,400 of free airtime over two years for all new Inmarsat Fleetbroadband activations on the Vizada standard, with a three-year minimum service contract, until the end of September. The service aims to provide voice, IP data and SMS and fax at speeds of up to 150 kilobits per second.
“Early response has been very positive to this service,” Martin Fierstone, president of Global Satellite USA, said in a statement.
