[Satellite Today 06-26-09] M2 Global Technology, a small business that supplies microwave products for the defense and aerospace industries, entered into a one-year defense mentor-protégé agreement with Lockheed Martin, M2 Global announced June 22.
    The agreement will see Lockheed Martin supporting M2 Global in further development and refinement of its manufacturing and management processes to better serve key aerospace, defense and commercial markets.
    "[M2 Global] has the unmistakable potential to meet critical requirements for high-quality components across a number of our platforms. We will provide the resources, technical expertise and training required to make this a win-win proposition," said Gary Bailey, vice president of material management for Lockheed Martin, in a statement.
