[Satellite Today 06-24-09] Panasonic Avionics’ Multiplexed Passenger Entertainment System (MPES) has been installed on 6,000 Boeing 737s entering into service as of today, the company announced June 23.
The 6000th aircraft was delivered to International Lease Finance Corp. and will be leased to Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA.
"Panasonic MPES will offer our passengers the latest advances in in-flight entertainment options, which is the perfect complement to Norwegian’s business expansion model and flight schedule," said Asgeir Nyseth, COO of Norwegian Air Shuttle, in a statement.
