[Satellite Today 05-22-09] Thomson, a supplier of set-top boxes to satellite pay-TV operators worldwide, hopes to reach an agreement in terms of debt restructuring by the middle of June, the company announced May 20.
   In a statement aimed to clarify various reports that were published on May 20, Thomson said it was “pursuing constructive discussions with its creditors, with the objective of reaching an agreement by June 16, the date on which a public update will be provided.”
   Thomson also said that it submitted a proposal to its creditors at the end of April, and that it has made a request to the French Securities Regulator to open an investigation.
