[Satellite Today 05-20-09] Skycasters, a broadband satellite solutions provider, won the 2009 Crain’s Leading Edge award from The Entrepreneurs Edge, a Ohio-based organization devoted to economic development through growth and entrepreneurship, the company announced May 19.
    The organization said Skycasters was chosen for the award due to its economic contribution to the Northeast Ohio region. The company will be presented with the award on May 20.
    “Bringing leading edge technologies to the broadband satellite Internet market, coupled with providing opportunities for jobs growth both locally and nationwide, have been Skycasters’ goals since its inception,” said Skycasters’ President, Mike Kister.
