[Satellite Today 05-14-09] Mark Slaughter, CEO and president of RigNet, an enterprise communications company for remote oil and gas industries, was named a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year 2009 award in the Houston and Gulf Coast area program, RigNet announced May 13.
Ernst & Young said the awards program recognizes entrepreneurs who demonstrate “extraordinary success in the areas of innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.”
Slaughter was selected as a finalist from nearly 550 nominations by a panel of independent judges. Award winners will be announced in June.
