[Satellite Today 05-08-09] DirecTV Group Inc. posted earnings of $201 million in the 2009 first quarter, down 46 percent from the same period in 2008, the company announced May 7.
Revenues improved 7 percent to $4.9 billion in the first three months of 2009 due mainly to growth at DirecTV U.S. and DirecTV Latin America.
