[Satellite Today 05-01-09] KVH Industries received a $1 million order from NovAtel for a self-contained navigation system that combines fiber optic gyro-based inertial measurement technology from KVH with GPS technology, KVH announced April 30.
The system aims to provide position and orientation of a host platform on a continuous basis, even during periods where GPS signals are blocked by natural or man-made obstructions or conditions.
The latest order follows a $900,000 order KVH received from NovAtel in March.
