[Satellite Today 04-20-09] Vizada renewed its distribution agreement with Inmarsat to continue providing Inmarsat services over the next five years, Vizada announced April 17.
Vizada will continue to provide Inmarsat’s IP-based broadband services, including Broadband Global Area Network (BGAN), FleetBroadband, and SwiftBroadband as well as leased services.
    In 2008, Vizada’s Inmarsat mobile satellite activities represented close to 40 percent of Inmarsat wholesale revenues. Vizada also was the number one provider for on-demand Inmarsat services, and held the leading position on revenues for BGAN, FleetBroadband and SwiftBroadband, Vizada said.
