[Satellite Today 03-20-09] XipLink has named Diem Technologies, based in Genova, Italy, a value-added reseller to provide delivery and logistics support for XipLink’s XA-Series of appliances and the XipStick portable optimizer to the EMEA region, XipLink announced March 19.
     “This is a strategic partnership for XipLink. Demand for our products is rapidly increasing and this partnership enables fast delivery and support throughout the territory. Diem Technologies has built a reputation for superior customer and logistic support that the European customer base has come to respect,” Peter Slade, XipLink managing director for the EMEA region, said in a statement.
    XipLink’s XA-Series appliances scale from 2 megabits per second (Mbps) to high performance systems at 155 Mbps. XipStick is a palm sized portable optimizer that delivers XipOS functionality to mobile satellite users.
