[Satellite Today 10-08-09] Thuraya signed a distribution agreement with U.K.-based Global RadioData Communications, the company announced Oct. 7.

            Thuraya provides advanced data services through its A-5 sized ThurayaIP terminal that is enhanced to meet the needs of military and defense customers. Under the agreement, Global RadioData will promote and distribute Thuraya’s portfolio of services to government and defense institutions in Europe.

            “Our partnership with [Global RadioData] will enhance our distribution chain to several sectors in Europe. Thuraya’s edge lies in the diversity and malleability of products and services that organisations such as the military and national institutions require,” Thuraya CCO Sven Rohte said in a statement.
