GSA Issues Request For Satellite Communications Services

The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) released a solicitation for proposals to provide commercial satellite communications solutions to the U.S. government, the agency announced Feb. 10. The GSA will award multiple service contracts under the Satcom-2 program, which will replace the GSA Satellite Services program.

Companies must be able to provide end-to-end satellite communication services for the U.S. Department of Defense and civilian agencies, including: fixed and mobile satellite transport services, application solutions; engineering and operational maintenance support, and satellite professional support services, which will be set aside for small businesses.

Proposals are due March 14.
