Antrix Corp. Ltd., the commercial arm of the Indian Space Research Organization and Measat Global Bhd of Malaysia signed an agreement to form a joint venture company to pool their satellite capabilities and develop a satellite neighborhood that will offer broadcasting and telecommunications services to customers in the Asia Pacific region. The two companies will equally own the joint venture company, the name of which has not yet been revealed. Other financial terms were not disclosed.
