EuroNews, a pan-European news channel, will now be available throughout Asia thanks to a key deal with satellite operator Eutelsat. EuroNews will now be broadcast with two signals in Asia through Eutelsat’s W5 satellite. EuroNews is already brought today to 154 million homes in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, North and South America.

This new agreement for capacity on our W5 satellite is a milestone in the development of EuroNews and we are very proud to be the channel’s chosen partner for its expansion into India and the Far East, including China,” said GiulianoBerretta, Eutelsat chairman and CEO.
