Canada Requests Earth Station Frequency Coordination

By Staff Writer | August 26, 2004

The Canadian government has petitioned the FCC for frequency coordination for four Canadian earth stations operating in the 3700 MHz-4200 MHz and the 5925 MHz-6425 MHz bands. A FCC spokesman did not have an immediate answer as to why the frequency coordination request was made by a foreign, albeit North American, government. A deadline of Oct. 12 was set for comments to be filed by any interested parties.
