T. Howard Foundation Plans To Honor Starz Encore, BET Leaders

The satellite industry’s 11th annual T. Howard Foundation fundraising dinner, scheduled for April 14 in New York, will include the presentation of awards to two industry visionaries. The group, created to provide scholarships and internships to bring more people of color and women into the satellite and telecommunications industry, will honor Starz Encore Founder, Chairman and CEO John Sie and BET Co-founder Shelia Johnson. She will receive the first-ever Taylor Howard Lifetime Achievement Award.
